Earlier this week I did a shout out in my Free Brand Confidence Group on Facebook, and let those lovely ladies know I would be doing some quick website reviews this week (for frees). Alice was the very brave first person to volunteer (thank you Alice!) So…Today’s 5min review is for Alice from AliceAbba.com.au
In the video, some of the suggestions I speak about include:
// Using the image header space to better give a sense of what Alice does in her business, and what people can expect to be educated about on this site.
Example: Denise’s core message is about Money Blocks – and we get introduced to that as soon as you hit her website.
// Adding a call to action / content upgrades to her blogs (which I also talk about in this website review).
// Introduce a strong USP to her site
// Give more emphasis to the free strategy session.
// Start building a segmented list so she can send targeted into to her different audiences.
// Create some optins that are targeted to her different audience types.
What Alice has done really well, is she has kept her branding simple and clean. The number one reason that DIY brands get OUT. OF. CONTROL. ugly and messy is by including too many elements. Nice one Alice! Also, getting your first website to this point where you have opt ins and blog posts, some offers and a way to contact you is actually a big deal, and she really has done an awesome job of keeping it clear and clean. She has also prioritised having good photos, which is an easy way to get your site looking better before having a big brand overhaul / redesign.
The main thing she should be concentrating on now is fixing the little bugs that are making the content display weirdly in a few areas, and work on the copy so that her message and brand purpose is clearer. The aim is to educate people on what you do and speak about within a few seconds of landing on the page.
